Nearly 75% of India's rural population depends on agriculture for its livelihood. RASC is RKF's answer — agro-service infrastructure that takes farm produce from field to export-ready, without the farmer having to leave the Taluka.
What This Program Does
Warehousing of farm produce after weighing, at an agreed price
Cutting, cleaning, washing, and drying of raw produce
Packing, stacking, labelling, and barcoding
Transfer to domestic markets — and to sea ports for international export
Ancillary processing units set up around each RASC
One RASC planned across every ten villages per Taluka
