Adarsh Gram
An Adarsh Gram is a model village that aims to provide basic services to every resident and reduce social disparities — one village per Taluka, selected from wherever the response to EDP training has been strongest. Each Adarsh Gram gets its own Village Development Plan, built around its own resources and needs, with no new government funds allocated — instead drawing on local industry setups, business revenue, and CSR investment.

How It Works
Selection
One village per Taluka, chosen by the strongest EDP training response.
Funding
Resourced through local industry setups, business revenue, CSR, and charitable activity.
Planning
A Village Development Plan is built around the village's own resources and needs.
Implementation
Taluka and District-level committees oversee healthcare, livelihoods, housing, and social forestry activities.
Monitoring
A web-based system tracks physical and financial targets every quarter.
Evaluation
Mid-term and post-project evaluation conducted by an independent agency.
